Dana Frelix

Continue Reading Motivational author and speaker Dana Frelix is devoted to helping people live better lives with more fulfillment. She speaks and writes out of her personal life experiences and, with a committed heart, enjoys sharing the good news of God’s hope, help, and healing for all who reach out for it.

She is the author of GYRLs for Christ, a bible study for teenage girls. She is the author of A Woman's Worth blog, which also appears on W.I.T.N.E.S.S. Book Club's website.

As a dedicated stay-at-home mother, Dana serves as fundraising co-chair for the Los Angeles chapter of Mocha Moms, Inc., a nonprofit organization that supports mothers. She also serves as a parent volunteer for her son's preschool. She grew up in Inglewood, California, and in 1990 was crowned Miss City of Inglewood. She went on to represent the city in the Miss California pageant. These experiences, and more, have contributed to her passion for helping women realize that who they are is defined by God, not by society.

Dana earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with an emphasis in Communications, at UCLA, and she earned her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Redlands. She is married to Alan Frelix, a financial services executive. They live in Los Angeles, California, with their two young children.
