Shirley A Wilson

Continue Reading Shirley A. Wilson was reared in a Christian home, accepted Christ at the age of nine, and while still in her teen years developed an insatiable love for God’s Word. Being equipped with biblical truth has guided and strengthened her whenever she has faced challenges. Those challenges have included life with her profoundly disabled younger brother, witnessing her mother’s struggle with Multiple Sclerosis, and a continual personal battle with Crohn’s Disease for the past three decades.

Following godly principles equipped Shirley to work with her husband in planting Christian Faith Fellowship (CFF), a church located in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, and help the congregation grow to more than 200 people. Her husband, Ricky Wilson, to whom she has been married for over 25 years, serves as pastor. Shirley is director of Women in Christ, a CFF ministry designed to help women recognize their position in Christ and assist them in living victoriously. Shirley is also a member of the praise team and choir and serves in the children’s ministry. As a writer, she has been instrumental in the production of much of the church’s printed material, including a new-members’ booklet, a membership handbook, and outlines and packets on various biblical topics to be taught in workshops and at retreats.

Shirley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania, and is a learning support teacher at West Chester B. Reed Henderson High School.

The Wilsons have two grown sons, Philip and Michael, and live in Pennsylvania.
